In 2024, engineers led by visionary entrepreneur Aryan Kapoor launched Vision Robotics, an American startup with the intention of changing the world through intelligent robotic systems.  The idea came to Aryan while working on a university project in which he designed a robot to assist relief workers in saving lives in areas that had been affected by disasters. With great ambition but limited financial support, the team started their journey in a cheap leased office.  They put in many hours of work blending artificial intelligence, mechatronics, and human factors engineering.  After several months of trial and error they created their first ever prototype: V-Assist, a humanoid with several sensors, machine learning functionality and modular design.
